News From the Entire Team!
Homework Help: Homework help will be offered two times a week. The times are after school (3:25 - 4:20) on Mondays and Tuesdays. This is a great opportunity for your child to work one-on-one with a teacher to complete his/her homework. Homework help will be in Ms. Land’s room on Mondays and Ms. Mutchler’s room on Tuesdays. Homework help is free and students who attend get a snack while they work. Please encourage your child to attend!

Science News from Ms. Land
Experiments! We are reviewing the scientific method and the parts of an experiment. In addition, we will jog our memories about measurements, units and tools of measurement. The Pendulum experiment was successful!! Again ask your child about the variables that affect the period of the pendulum.
GOOD Questions to ask: 1. What are variable in an experiment? Independent and dependent variable.
2. What are constants in an exp? 3. What type of graph will you make? 4. State the claim and evidence to back it up.
Thanks for supporting your child in science class. The students are given HOMEWORK on Monday and it is due on THursday each week. ***THIS WEEK’s HW 10/17 - 10/20. Complete the Pendulum experiment graph and post lab questions.
